We remain in England for our latest featured photographer.

A warm welcome to Janice Penfold.

I have taken 'as seen' photographs for many years, but due to a hand /wrist problem, I now unable to use heavier reflex cameras, with interchangable lenses, and have therefore converted to using a Canon G12, which is lighter and allows closer work than previously.

I am not very technically minded, so my direction is now to try and improve lighting within my pictures, and especially to make up images through two or three physical stages, rather than computer manipulation. This does not always work out, as envisaged, but certainly gets the brain cells clanking.
