A Big Welcome To: Máire Uí Mhaicín "I have been passionate about photography ever since my late dad gave me a loan of his Kodak Folding Brownie Six-20 when I went to boarding school. This concertina style camera got me hooked on photography, and it wasn't until I went digital back in 2003 that I was able to give full rein to my desire to experiment with different lenses and shoot as many images as I wished in order to learn from my own mistakes.

Since starting a membership in Pbase.com in early 2007 I have gone on a sharp learning curve and I am grateful to those photographers who took sufficient interest in my work to critique it constructively".
